Marcus Van Vlake is a guy who likes to have a good time.
I'm talking 4-wheelers, hunting, fishing, frisbee-golf throwing, dancing, high-fiving, the works!
Marcus was away from the property the day this party happened. He denies it ever occurred. He cannot even fathom the idea that a party went on, in his backyard, without him. Clearly, he does not read my blog!
We were all set to celebrate some pretty big birthdays here on the Bethel property this year between Marcus and Mark. Mark is turning to big 30, and Marcus? Well, let's just say the lesson number may or may not be a coincidence.
But, if you haven't tuned in this week ... the Van Vlake's moved.
Are you all sick of hearing about this yet? I swear. I'll be over it soon.

Regardless, I wanted to give a quick shout out to the man and the legend himself, wishing him a Happy Birthday!
I also wanted to let him know we had a huge party here last Saturday, his actual birthday, in his honor.
It is such a shame that he had to miss that one too!
Lesson Learned: Ask yourself, why would someone ever leave this place?
