But Manning's do not get married in the fall. In our household, Fall = Football.
So, the first time around, Mark and I complied. We married a few days after Christmas and celebrated with friends and family on New Year's Eve.
Since we had to do it again, this time it was all fall, y'all!

Lesson Learned: Who gets to have "the best day of my life" twice?
Hi Katherine,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you!
I've just returned from your DMV wild goose chase of a day post and am SO happy to see this lovely and peaceful wedding here today that resulted from it! You certainly have a great story to tell your children and an entertaining one for your blog readers!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my guest post at Savvy Southern Style!

Dear Katherine,
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you two are finally "legal." Your mother and I also had a second ceremony. Come to think of it, your situation is kind of the opposite of ours. Is all the paper work in order???
Love,
Dad
Beautiful celebration! I hate we missed it. (Comfy-looking outdoor chairs--HA--what's ours is yours and vice-versa, I reckon).
