Lesson 98: Reality

I've finally given in to the fact that every member of my family eats a banana ... every ... single ... day.

These bunches (plural) will last us half a week.

Then we will have to go back for more.

Yes, I said more.

Lesson Learned: I need to just buy 28 bananas the first time I go to the store and be done with it. But y'all, buying 28 bananas at a time makes a person look ... well, BANANAS!

  1. I found your blog a bit ago and just love it's theme. When I saw this banana post, I knew I had to finally comment. I myself eat a banana everyday, and while it's just me at the moment (a husband will be added to the mix in just a few short weeks, which means more bananas) seven bananas is a lot to keep fresh before the next visit to the store. A tip I have found that really works is to separate each banana, so they are no longer attached to one another, and store them in the fridge. They keep better, and your banana can turn almost a dark brown and still be fresh once you split it open. It's like a little miracle and I wish I had known it sooner! A banana a day keeps the doctor away, right??
